“I loved the first in this series and this one, the second, drew me in immediately with its explosive start. Uma is a fabulous character with morals which are severely tested, especially with what happened to Ethan in the first book. There’s plenty of action, treachery from the highest of places and a very welcome return of someone. The chapters are short and snappy and as each one gives the place, date and time I felt like I was there with the characters, both the good guys and the bad. This book is a highly addictive read and it’s subject matter really did make me think. I can’t wait to read the third in The Race Is On series and can only thank OC Heaton for writing such a compulsive novel.”
